Inlay and Onlay Procedures

Inlay and onlay are a type of indirect restoration. An inlay fills in cavities and hollows in a tooth in the areas between the cusps. An onlay will not just fill in cavities in those spaces, but they can work for a larger area, including the cusps. They are both made from the same materials. Smilarly to crowns but they do not cover the whole tooth.

What is the difference between Inlay & Onlay and fillings?

A standart filling will be applied into your tooth but Inlay and Onlay are custom made in the laboratory.
